When communicating with kids, it is important that we clearly differentiate between advertising content and Nickelodeon content, therefore:

  • Non Nickelodeon content placed on our site must be clearly labeled with the word "ad" or "advertisement" plainly visible for the complete duration that the content is visible to users.
  • For some placements this label has been built into our ad serving system (in-page banner ad units, for example), but will need to be manually added to other out of page units.
  • When a user is redirected to advertising content either on or off Nickelodeon, we display a "bumper".
